Adventure days out for families & friends
Looking for adventurous things to do in Cornwall for the whole family? We have outdoor adventure activities for children and adults, plus a Cafe, nature trails and a wild play area for under 10’s.
For children aged 10+ and adults:
- Zip Wire Safari: A series of exhilarating zip wires across our adventure quarry!
For children aged 8+ and adults:
- Via Ferrata: An adrenaline-filled high wire adventure with a zip wire.
- Coasteering: Scramble up quarry walls and plunge into water!
- Rock Climbing: Take on exciting routes and abseil down
For children aged 6+ and adults:
- Stand-up Paddleboarding: Learn to balance and see how long you can go before taking a dunking!
- Mixed watersports: Try kayaking, canoeing and stand-up paddleboarding!
- Archery: Hone your skills before getting competitive with our team target games!

Activities for young children and toddlers
Coming with little ones, or maybe you’re not as adventurous and wondering what to do whilst your loved ones are getting their adrenaline fix?
Café with a view: Run by The Cornish Barista, the Café sells amazing cakes and lunches. The viewing platform nearby overlooks the quarry and part of the Via Ferrata route, so is perfect for taking photos or cheering on your group!
Wild play area for children under 10: There are swings, a slide, a climbing slope and a muddy kitchen! There’s also a covered seating area so you can sit with a takeaway coffee while they play!
Adventure nature trails: Wind through stunning scenery and explore the grassland, forest, wet woodland and bug zones, whilst learning wildlife facts with our interpretation boards! Part of the route goes near the Via Ferrata’s zip wire so you can see your group fly through the air! Dogs on leads are welcome.
