Looking for outdoor adventure birthday parties in Cornwall? You’re in for a treat with our exciting and unique party packages! Choose from watersports, coasteering, climbing, archery and Via Ferrata – the ultimate adrenaline activity with an epic zip wire!
Whether you’re after adults’ or children’s birthday parties or a mix, we’ll tailor it to your age range to make sure everyone has an amazing time. Our parties are run by experienced hosts, so you can relax while we do the work!
Will you soar through the air, plunge into quarry water, take on 20m high cliffs, embrace the high wire bridge, or capture the hilarious moment when your friend wobbles off their paddleboard? Whatever you choose, you’re guaranteed fun, laughter and amazing memories!
Tailored adventure birthday parties
- We’ll tailor our outdoor birthday parties to your group. As long as you’re all aged 6+, you’re good to go!
- You could enjoy just one activity, or combine them to make a half day or full day to remember! There’s also the option to add food (arranged separately with the Cafe), or to enjoy self-led nature trails and wild play for free.
- We offer a 10% discount when you book with a minimum of 8 people! You can see our standard prices for each activity below. When there are 8 or more of you, you’ll also get sole use of the activity and an Instructor all to yourselves. To book, please check out the activities below and email us with what you’d like to do and when, your group size and age range. We’ll then put some options together for you, subject to availability.
Adventure Birthday parties: activity menu
VIA FERRATA – THE EPIC HIGH WIRE ADVENTURE! Gear yourselves up to scale cliff faces, wobble across high wires and fly through the air on our zip wire! Age: Adventure Zone 8+, Full Classic 10+.
Duration: 2-3 hours. Price: £45pp. 10% off for Blue Light Card holders, Locals and Campers.
COASTEERING – IN OUR WATER-FILLED QUARRY! Have a splash contest and feel the adrenaline as you leap from heights of up to 5m into the water! Age: 8+.
Duration: 2.5 hours. Price: £40pp.
WATERSPORTS – KAYAKING, CANOEING AND SUP! Paddle through historic quarries and attempt the super popular stand-up paddle boarding! Age: 6+.
Duration: 2.5 hours. Price: £30pp.
ROCK CLIMBING – TAKE ON DIFFERENT ROUTES! Enjoy the challenge, adrenaline and achievement of climbing high then letting go to abseil down! Age: 8+.
Duration: 2 hours. Price: £30pp.
ARCHERY – LEARN SKILLS AND GET COMPETITIVE! Develop your aim with this addictive sport and then get competitive with our fun target games! Age: 6
Duration: 1 hour. Price: £12pp.
Sample birthday party itineraries
VIA FERRATA & LUNCH – Arrive at 9.40am for a 10am start, then finish with the full lunch and cake platter in the Café with The Cornish Barista!
COASTEERING, WATERSPORTS & TREATS – Arrive at 12.40 for a 1pm coasteering and watersports session, building up your appetite for a full range of tempting treats.
A full day can be arranged with morning and afternoon activities, lunch and cake in the Café.
Please note that food and drink is not included in the price and needs to be arranged by contacting The Cornish Barista directly through Facebook or email.

Frequently asked questions
What’s included?
Our sessions include all the necessary kit and instruction. You can also store your belongings in our locker room. So, all you need to bring is yourself, wearing clothes and trainers that you don’t mind getting a bit dirty or wet. If you’re going for one of our water activities, you’ll also need to bring a towel and spare clothes.
What group sizes do you cater for?
Usually there is no maximum to the number that we can accommodate, however this may change with Government guidelines. If you email us with the number of people you would like, we will take it from there!
Will the sessions get cancelled in bad weather?
Activities still run in rainy weather, but if it pours down, we have a backup indoor climbing wall! Using our indoor space is dependent on government guidelines, so cannot always be guaranteed.

We also offer camping and an Adventure Holiday Club for children aged 6-13 during the school holidays. So, if your kids love the outdoors, this would be the perfect childcare for them!
