Enjoy spectacular views at the café, with wild play areas and adventure trails nearby!
The Café is open to all, whether or not you’re trying our adventure activities! Run by The Cornish Barista, it’s big on using locally sourced ingredients and offers vegan options.
Please note: At peak times there could be longer waiting times for food. If you’re thinking of ordering BEFORE a pre-booked activity with us, please check with the Café staff and let them know the time of your session, so they can advise whether food can be delivered on time or update you as to waiting times. We also recommend reserving a table, particularly for larger groups.

Got little ones? We’ve got a wild play area for under 10’s, so you can grab a coffee then explore! We’ve also got adventure trails for the whole family to enjoy.
Dog-friendly cafe
The Café is open to all and is dog friendly! Dogs are welcome on the adventure nature trails too but must be on a lead (they can’t roam freely due to dangers of quarry edges). So, feel free to drop in even if you’re not joining us for adventure sessions! Locals get free parking too.

Café with amazing views
The cafe offers delicious coffee, cakes, breakfast, brunch, lunch and takeouts with vegan options!
Choose from a selection of homemade cakes, soups, sandwiches, pasties and more! The ingredients are locally sourced.
The Cafe is open daily, 9:00-4:00. There is outdoor seating which overlooks our quarry, so if your friends or family are trying the Via Ferrata, you can watch them in action! It’s also a great way to see what a Via Ferrata is if you’re considering it! We encourage people to book this in advance, but there may be space on the day if you’re lucky. The quietest times are often at the start or end of the day.
Muddy Play & Wild Play Area
Are you looking for fun wild play activities for your children? We have swings, a slide, a climbing slope and a mud kitchen – perfect for kids under 10! There’s also a covered area for parents to sit and enjoy a takeaway coffee from the Cafe!
We’re a huge fan of mud – science has shown its crucial role in building strong immune systems, plus there’s growing evidence that it increases our serotonin levels. So, why not let your kids get creative and use their imagination with their own mud play ideas! Whether they’re making mud cakes or building sculptures, they’re sure to have fun.
This is open Thursday-Tuesday 09.30-16.00 and Wednesday 12:30-16:00, with no public access outside these times.

We worked with the Cornwall Wildlife Trust to develop exciting nature trails that take you through our diverse habitat zones.
Our remote site is full of amazing wildlife. Check out our bug zones, grassland area, forest and wet woodland whilst learning amazing wildlife facts with our interpretation boards!
Amongst the squirrels, birds and rabbits, we’ve even spotted the occasional red deer. We’ve encouraged wildlife by introducing five full hives of bees on-site and planting 400 trees. We find tones of frog spawn in our quarries each year too!

Adventure nature trails are open daily, 9:30-4:00.
The play area is open Thursday-Tuesday 09.30-16.00 and Wednesday 12:30-16:00, with no public access outside these times.
