Want to treat your children to Cornwall’s most exciting Adventure Holiday Club? Do they want to learn to climb, paddle or become an archery pro? Look no further than our outdoor childcare for 6-13 year olds! Enjoying a range of outdoor activities, they’ll get to learn new skills, make friends and most importantly, have fun! These are adventures for kids only, so are perfect if you just want to drop your children off for an epic time.
We’re running courses in climbing, zip-lining, paddlesports, catapulting, bushcraft, coasteering, raft-building, archery and adventure games! Groups are split based on age and confidence, so the activities will perfectly match their level. Whether your child is an adrenaline junkie or completely new to the activities, we’ve got it covered.
Please note
Please note that this provision is suitable for children who are able to work within a group with an instructor and are ready to listen and follow instructions and guidance. If they are not yet ready for this or require additional 1 to 1 support, this activity will not be appropriate. Our parent charity BF Adventure and its specialist team can provide additional support – please get in touch if they can help. Please note that if a young person places themselves or others in a position of risk, we will need to stop their activity and contact parents/guardians to arrange immediate collection.
Half and full day options
We offer flexible options for working parents, so you can treat your child to half a day or a whole day with us. Activities vary day to day, so you’ll need to check the calendar when you book to see what’s on!
Half Day (09:30 – 12:30 / 13:00 – 16:00) £20 per person
Full Day (09:30 – 16:00) – £40 per person
Full days include two different adventures. We supervise lunch time, so just drop your child off in the morning and collect them after the afternoon activity!

School Holiday Club
climbing courses
£20 per person per session
Duration 3 hrs (09:30 – 12:30 / 13:00 – 16:00)
Our climbing courses for children are a fantastic way to have fun and build confidence! The indoor and outdoor climbing walls have different routes for different levels and your child will feel a huge sense of achievement when they reach the top. They’ll learn new climbing techniques and also help to belay.

try canoeing or kayaking
£20 per person per session
Duration 3 hrs (09:30 – 12:30 / 13:00 – 16:00)
Our canoeing courses take place in our beautiful water-filled quarries! This is a fun opportunity to learn paddling skills, take in the nature and develop teamwork.
We teach technique and safety, so your children will gain confidence in the water.

Design & build rafts!
£20 per person per session
Duration 3 hrs (09:30 – 12:30 / 13:00 – 16:00)
Build rafts and try them out! This is a very popular and fun session which will see your children building their teamwork skills and putting their problem solving skills to the test!
Fun is guaranteed as your children paddle and splash their way through our quarry water.

coasteering in our quarry

Duration 3 hrs (09:30 – 12:30 / 13:00 – 16:00)
Scramble up the quarry face and leap off into the beautiful freshwater! As well as natural rock crevices near the water level, we have built-in platforms at 3, 4 and 5 meters high!
This is a super fun way to build confidence and your children are sure to leave with a buzz!

Learn Archery
£20 per person per session
Duration 3 hrs (09:30 – 12:30 / 13:00 – 16:00)
As well as developing aiming skills and focus, our archery courses include team games for some healthy competition!
The archery games include ‘baking cakes’ and ‘making pizza’ – the children will cheer on their teams!

Giant catapulting!
£20 per person per session
Duration 3 hrs (09:30 – 12:30 / 13:00 – 16:00)
Get your children building teamwork, communication and problem solving skills as they design and build giant catapults! They’ll then take turns to fire tennis balls at targets across the field! This activity is immensely fun, offers a great challenge and guarantees smiles and laughter. There’s also a chance to enjoy some healthy competition.

Treat your children to a real adventure in our beautiful water-filled quarries involving obstacles, team-building games, problem solving challenges and more!
These activities are unique, fun and designed to build cooperation and decision making skills.

Bushcraft sessions
£20 per person per session
Duration 3 hrs (09:30 – 12:30 / 13:00 – 16:00)
Your children will get in touch with nature with our fun bushcraft sessions! They’ll have a go at shelter building, enjoy some wild play and learn the skill of firelighting. Toasting some marshmallows may also be on the agenda!
They’ll problem solve as a team and try new things.

Soar through the air on our incredibly popular and fun zip wire! This activity overlooks gorgeous views and is a great way to build confidence and get the adrenaline pumping.
There’s no better way to let off steam and enjoy something new!
