Looking for watersports in Cornwall? Our family friendly paddlesports sessions include kayaking and canoeing and take place in our calm water-filled quarries. Or, you could try our stand up paddleboarding taster sessions!
We’ll teach you technique and safety so you can have fun exploring and trying out the different sports. Join us to make amazing memories and have fun!
Our watersports sessions
Our watersports sessions last 2.5 hours and are perfect for kids aged 6+ and adults. You can mix and match between kayaking and canoeing and sessions cost £30 per person.

Want to learn to kayak/canoe or hone in on your skills? We run through all the safety and techniques with you first before letting you explore our beautiful quarries!
This is a brilliant way to develop your skills and build confidence in the water, whether you’re a complete beginner or have already given it a go!
Parents must supervise children under 18.

There’s something for everyone! There’s The Cornish Barista’s Cafe which offers amazing cakes and lunch. You could also grab a takeaway and explore our adventure nature trails. Finally, there’s a wild play area and muddy play for under 10’s.
Frequently asked questions
How safe are the watersports?
Our watersports are incredibly safe. As well as being in a sheltered quarry, all our instructors are fully qualified. We have also undertaken thorough risk assessments to ensure your safety.
Do I need to be a good swimmer?
Since there is no wind or tide movement, we do not have any swimming requirements.
What fitness level do I need?
We cater for all abilities and an average fitness level is needed. The weight limit is 110kg.
What’s included?
All the kit is provided, including buoyancy aids, helmets and wetsuits where needed. You can also store your belongings in our locker room. So, all you need to bring is a towel, spare clothes, old trainers for the water and swim wear. You could also bring your own wetsuit if you have one.
Will the session get cancelled in bad weather?
Sessions still run in rainy weather and are just as fun!

Group watersports
Our watersports are also available for groups. These include private adventure sessions for family and friends, school and youth group trips, stag and hen parties, birthday parties and corporate away days.
Other activities
We also offer stand-up paddleboarding, zip wires, Via Ferrata, coasteering, rock climbing and archery! Also on-site is the Cafe with wild play areas and nature trails nearby!
